Your data, kept minimal
FitMate respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, what it doesn’t, and how it’s used.
Information we collect
- Email address
- Username
- Firebase Authentication user ID

Not permanently stored
FitMate does not permanently store personal health information, including:
These values are used only to personalize recommendations inside the app and are not permanently stored as personal profile records.
Workout media
Exercise images and workout GIFs are securely delivered through Cloudinary. No personal user photos or videos are uploaded.

Children’s privacy
FitMate is not intended for children under the age of 13.
Policy updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally. Continued use of FitMate after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
Delete your FitMate account
You’re always in control of your data. FitMate offers two ways to permanently delete your account.
Inside the app
Deleting your account permanently removes your Firebase Authentication account and all associated account information stored by FitMate. This action cannot be undone.
Can’t access the app?
Send an email to request deletion manually:
- Include your registered email address in the message.
- Expected response time: within 48 hours.
